If you're ready to start working with WHOIS, DNS, and domain data via the WhoisFreaks API, your first step is simple—create an account and grab your API key. Here's how to do it in just a few clicks.

Step 1: Head to WhoisFreaks and Click “Sign Up”

Go to whoisfreaks.com and hit the Sign Up button at the top-right corner of the page.

Step 2: Create Your Account

You can sign up to WhoisFreaks in two ways:

Option A – Manual Sign Up:

Fill out the required fields in the form:

  • First Name
  • Second Name
  • Email
  • Password

If all fields are valid, click Sign Up. You can also check the boxes to subscribe to our newsletter and receive product updates.

After you click Sign Up, a confirmation message will appear letting you know that a verification email has been sent. Open the email, click the verification link, and your account will be activated.

In your email, you’ll find a Verify Account button - click it to confirm your account. If the button doesn’t work (for example, if it’s blocked by your email provider), you can use the backup link provided below it. Just copy the link and paste it into your browser to complete verification.

Once verified, you’ll see a success message and be redirected to the login page.

You can now log in using your email and password.

Option B – One-Click Sign Up:

Prefer speed? You can sign up instantly using:

  • Google
  • GitHub

Just click the provider of your choice, authorize access, and you’re in. No extra steps. Your account is created and you’re logged in automatically.

Step 3: Get Your API Key

After logging in, you’ll land directly on your dashboard. Right at the front, you’ll see your unique API Key—ready to use.

Copy it. This key authenticates your API requests and gives you access to:

  • WHOIS Data (live, historical, reverse)
  • IP & ASN WHOIS Lookup
  • DNS Data (live, historical, reverse)
  • SSL Certificate Lookup
  • IP Geolocation API
  • Domain Availability API
  • Security Lookup API

You're In

That’s it. You’re now set up and ready to integrate WhoisFreaks into your workflow.
